April 4th 1964: The Beatles became the only musical performers in history to simultaneously occupy the top 5 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. A record still unbroken, over fifty years later.
The Yellow Submarine is one of the Beatles songs that is not about the drugs.
The Beatles had the most number ones by far with six, totalling 18 weeks at number one. There was one week during the 1960s (not sure if it was '64) when all five of the top five songs were Beatles songs.
The Beatles have 20#1's in the US, Elvis 21 in the UK but three are counted twice and one is a remix by another artist so in reality the Beatles and Elvis are still tied at 17 in the UK. Overall the Beatles have the most #1's. Actually if you are looking for who has the most #1's ever, any genre, it would be George Strait, who to date has had 57 #1 songs.

George Strait wrote 20 number one hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The Beatles have the most number one singles (20) on the Billboard charts.

Very possible. I remember at one time they had songs 1 through 5 on the top 40. Not sure what year.
Most of their songs were never a number one hit. Only 17 were, leaving over 200 to not be.
"I Want To Hold Your Hand" was the Beatles first number 1 hit in the US, and it was the number 1 hit for the year 1964. The Beatles songs "She Love You", "Can't Buy Me Love" "Lobe Me Do" A Hard Day's Night", and I Feel Fine" also made number 1 that year.
