From her movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me, it seems as if she's a very genuine, kind person; however, I'm pretty sure that she was in the editing room during most of the editing of that movie, so it's probably a tab biased, right?

Now, I've read on other web-answer sites that she's been semi-rude to fans backstage before, but I've also read that she's really nice to her fans. Nobody's perfect right? I mean, if I had to do what she did (act perfectly happy and awesome during all of her concerts) I might not have enough kindness to dish out to all of my fans all the time.

Also, however, I've read that she's almost always very kind to all of her family and her real friends. But then again, these are all things that I've read on other websites. Who knows?

Yes, Katy Perry is a good person. Her first album was a Christian Album, because she believes in God and goes to Church. But some of her songs aren't exactly for children, because some of her songs have inappropriate words in it, and some of her songs are kind-of inappropriate. So I would suggest that Katy Perry is for 10+.
