Technically, they are not considered a "Christian" band, although some of the members in the band are in fact Christians. There are so many bands out there that are like this. (ex: Anberlin, Emery, Family Force 5, etc...) If you listen to their lyrics, they are very positive for the most part, leading on that "faith" factor again. Saying that, I am a Christian, but I don't believe music should be about what religious views an artist has. Music should be enjoyed because it is music. If you're looking for inspiration in life, this band is definitely one to turn to.
(KSE is not a christian band. If their music was religious it would be closest to Buddhism. However, the band is simply not a religious band, they don't sing about worshiping or holy books. Having respect and compassion for life does not make you a christian.)
