Actually, they did date. "Love Story", "Breathe", and "White Horse" are about him and they recently recorded a song together for Boy's Like Girls' new album called "Two is Better Than One".
Taylor and Martin were dating, but Big Machine Records thought that he wasn't right for Taylor's image, so she stopped dating him--that's when she wrote "Breathe" and "Love Story."
This reminds me of another internet "rumor" that she was dating Alex from All Time Low... There's no pictures or sightings to prove they were dating. Just speculation...
alright so i dont know much of taylors music, but i have heard love story and it is deffinatly not about M, as its about someone she grew up with. and he did NOT propose. the other songs I do not know for sure, BUT I'm quite sure they did not date. they did play TIBTO together, but maritn has told the story many times, they knew her bcs she said she loved the in the wall street jurnol, so they called her up and asked for some help to make the song have 2 ppl, (btr than 1??) they might have dated briefly, but I dont think they would of broke up bcs of her record company.. she seems like an indepent person who makes her own decisions.. it would probly of had to do with him banging a diff girl each night on tour..
and she did NOT date alex gaskarth. he has been with Lisa since highschool and has cheated on her many times, but has NOT had another relationships.
