I have a Yamaha YPR-7. It has touch sensitive keys, meaning the volume increases as you press the keys faster. The keys are not weighted, nor are they action sensitive (there is no "bang" sound when you hit the keys hard, just an increase in volume).
I would recommend this piano for a child or teenager that just wants to be able to mess around on a keyboard on their own.
Myself, I am upgrading to the Roland FP-7F, a very different beast.
I asked Yamaha corporation about the same question and they told me I have to order it from Yamaha. It is about 5-6 US dollars. I have a dgx305 and the CD ROM was not included in the package. Good Luck.

The keyboard and piano are NOT the same, for a couple reasons: - The piano has a wider range. - It is more real and acoustic. - Better to practice on than a keyboard. If you are sending your child to piano lessons, it is best to buy a piano. A piano will teach them how to sit correctly, and how to actually press the notes far better than a keyboard will. And most keyboard keys are smaller than the piano's keys are, so that is not a good thing, if they want to practice right. Also, when your child reaches a higher level in piano, pieces will require more strength and power. If you happen to bang too much on the keyboard, the keys will break and the electronic sound will be damaged in time as well. However, a piano can take that kind of vigorous aggression. Hope this helped!
Yamaha YDP series I'd definitely say. Try to get some information about YDP 223 or Arius YDP 160. They have authentic sounds and real finger feelings and resonable prices. I read some useful reviews from John's Yamaha digital piano review. It should help.

The Yamaha CLP-330 digital piano is a solid choice for musicians seeking a realistic acoustic piano experience in a digital format. Its Graded Hammer 3 (GH3) keyboard provides an authentic touch, mimicking the feel of acoustic piano keys. The Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) tone generation produces high-quality sound, capturing the nuances of traditional piano tones. The instrument also offers a variety of features, including different voices, recording capabilities, and connectivity options. While newer models may offer additional features, the CLP-330 remains a reliable and respected choice for those desiring a quality digital piano with a focus on realistic touch and sound.
