Short answer: NOT ALWAYS.
Long answer.
On the outside it could be anything, bo diddly played a plank looking guitar, while a fender stratocaster is anything BUT congruent. acoustics are generally "congruent" so long as you dont look in side it. (bracing is a whacky world). on a different note, Guitars ARE very congruent in that they are made from matching pieces of wood. on a les paul, the thicker part of the body is made out of mahogany (end matched) while the top is usualy made out of book matched flamed maple, or bookmatched flame maple. (a total of 4 matching pieces of wood)
hope this helps - Kyse

The difference between an electric guitar and an air guitar is a electric guitar is an actual guitar and an air guitar is imaginary. An air guitar is when people pretend to play a guitar with hand movements. An electric guitar converts vibrations of its steelcorded strings into electric current. These currents then go to a amplifier to make them louder.
A hollow guitar is called an Acoustic guitar.
That depends on the guitar! On a Tenor guitar there are four strings, on a standard guitar there are six strings, and there are twelve strings on a twelve string guitar.

No. If you made a parallelogram with congruent sides it wouldn't necessarily have congruent angles. A square has to have congruent angles as well as congruent sides.
Circles that have congruent radii. Congruent=coinciding at all points when superimposed (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/congruent)
One side cannot be congruent: it must be congruent to something!
Two pairs of adjacent sides are congruent. The angles between the non-congruent sides are congruent.
