There's a big difference--a MIDI keyboard is a synthesizer equipped with MIDI while a standard keyboard is your desktop or laptop's computer keyboard. Don't get the two confused! What might be causing the confusion is that MIDI is the standardcommunication interface used in synthesizers that most synth manufactures (i.e. Yamaha, Roland, Korg) use.

There are a lot of different types of music keyboards that come in different sizes and capabilities so to say that there's a standard keyboard is a bit ambiguous.

yes, a piano doesn't tend to have electronics or different voices unless its an electric piano
