No, not at all. Trevor actually speaks about how he is trying to emulate the ridiculousness of 80's black and death metal that he used to listen to when he was younger. In a kind of way he says he is slightly making fun of the ridiculous gore lyrics and fantasy in these songs whilst still keeping a shock factor cause that is what he liked about metal when he was growing up. They are however not religious.
