During their appearance together on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, there were several references to grandson/grandfather relationship. However, Sir Terry's offspring are named Alan, Mark and Katherine. Chris Evans' parents are named Martin (deceased) and Minnie Evans. Evans' has been married several times and may have an indirect link to Wogan that way, but certainly he is not Evans' Grandfather.

Why did Fran godfrey leave wake up with wogan?

No-one knows for certain why she left the programme, but there are two main speculations. One is that she fell out with Terry Wogan and no longer felt able to work with him. The other is that she was on too close terms with a number of BBC radio executives, which made her position untenable.

What has happened to Fran Godfrey from BBC Radio 2?

Just read that Fran had her last morning on Terry Wogan's show on May 9th. Reasons are said to be private between BBC Radio Two management according to what you read on the internet. Apparently she's still on Radio Two, last heard reading the news at 1pm. The real facts are very interesting indeed. She was said to be on very friendly terms with a good number of blokes, including a number of top executives in and out of the media. One radio company board member was heard to comment that this is why she's so thin. Why did a well known presenter at a radio station in Sussex, 'fall' to his death from the multi story car park at Gatwick Airport? Has Fran Godfrey found a new position yet?
