The short answer is yes, Crafter Guitars are good guitars. What I can tell you is that you want to look at the basic appointments to make sure you get a good guitar. Just like a Martin, Guild, or Taylor; Crafter guitars that have solid tops, L.R. Baggs electronics and grover tuners are excellent guitars. I have several acoustic guitars and I have to say that playability and tone I get with my Crafter guitars is second to none. So, if you don't mind a lesser known (in the USA only, even Harrod's stocks these!) guitar then a Crafter is the right choice for you. The absolute best thing to do is go to a dealer who has other well known brands and play them side by side and make a choice on your own.
Fair. I own a Strat Copy. The color is a metallic red, sparkle finish, almost looks
pinkish, but cool. Plays ok. Had to adjust action/string height. Pickups sound ok.
Not much feedback. Ok to start out with. Not a "Pro" instrument.

Epiphone is the brand/manufacturer of the guitar. Chances are pretty good it looks a lot like a guitar with 'Gibson' on it, but it cost a lot less.
Some people would think so, others would not.
"Johnson" is a brand name for guitar, but, if you're asking if Johnson is a name brand guitar as in "quality" guitar, then I would say no. Johnson is an inexpensive guitar somewhat suitable for beginners.

Depends on what brand it is.

Crafter's Choice seems to be a book club geared towards crafters. However, it would also seem that there is a Crafter's Choice brand of knitting needles that is sold in stores.
