On my plastic and wooden cutting boards. I use dish detergent and hot water to loosen any grease. I follow this up with a 10% bleach to 90% water mix in a spray bottle. If hospitals use it to kill the aids virus, it should kill anything on my cutting boards. if there is a bleach odor, just wash with dish soap one more time
