www.wikipedia.com states: Bobby Tench joined a new look Van Morrison Band as a guitarist and vocalist in March 1978 to record the Wavelength album, Morrison's tenth studio album in just over a decade. Tench was also credited with production assistance on this album and contributed guitar and backing vocals to the promotional tour which followed. The tour started at Santa Clara, California on September 30 1978 and ended on March 19th 1979, in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Tench also featured on a video from this tour entitled Van Morrison in Ireland, a video that has been described as one of Morrison's best live performances to date. By the end of the tour Tench had played on classic Morrison songs such as Brown Eyed Girl, Moondance, Sweet Thing, Into the Mystic and Gloria. He had also appeared in Morrison's line up sixty two times, before moving on to play with Eric Burdon, Axis Point before joining Humble Pie in 1980 .
