ou have to pull your ashtray out and there is 2 screws in the slot where the ashtray slides in.Make sure you turn your radio off and keep the keys out of the ignition when your removing it or it will lock itself and you will have to get a unlock code for it to work again.After you take those screws out you pull the panel off and you can see how the radio pulls out.
Yes I just use the override code #1111 and then press (sel) and its working just fine...thanks for the help. yes i just did the same thing i had replaced my alternator etc and to my dismay the code light began to flash i simply googled it and found the website which told me to use override code #1111 and then press (sel) i hope this works for you as it worked for me .......good luck!!!!!!

I had the same problem on my 420 SEL, you first have to remove the window wiper fluid container and after you can reach the screws for the battery after that it is simple.
