There should be a fuse in the fuse panel that controls the power outlet. Check the fuse first, then look for a loose wire connection.

If you have the owners manual, look up the location of the fuse panel. Check the fuse for the radio, it may also be used for the lighter outlet. Replace the fuse (only use one of the same rating as what is called for at that location!). If you don't have the owners manual, the fuse panel cover may be marked as to which fuse is for the radio.
