Sabian vs Zildjian vs Paiste

Zildjian, Paiste, Sabian, and meinl, have great drummers and have great sounds.

Zildjian is famous for being the first cymbals made. When you buy zildjian many people are just buying them for the name. However they do have good sound I recommend the a custom or a series. They have quite a few drum endorses which include the drummer from Linkin Park(Rob Burdon), Carter Buford, and the great buddy rich!!

For Paiste they are the third biggest cymbal company and my personal favorite.

Joey jordison, Nicko Mcbrian, are both avid paiste lovers as well others.

Paiste has made many innovations to the cymbal community such as the edged bottom hi-hat flat rides and flat bells.

Sabian the second largest cymbal company has quite an interesting background.

It was tradition that the father of the zildjian family pass down the formula to the oldest son but Avedis Zildjian III passed it down to both his son Armand Zildjian and Robert Zildjian. The was a conflict between Robert and Armand so Robert split from Zildjian and formed Sabian cymbals Sa from his daughter sandy, bi from his son billy, and an from his daughter anne. Sabian cymbals are known for having some of the worlds greatest artist. Tony Royster Jr., Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy, Chad Smith, and tons others.

Meinl is the 4th largest and are great cymbals!

The have a very nice range of cymbals with amazing sounds.

Meinl and Paiste are both considered the Euro style sound.

The great thomas lang is one of meinl cymbal artists.

So basically Is all boils down to personal preference. You can go to your local music shop and try out cymbals. See what you like and what you don't like.

zildjian. most definitely zildjian. cymbals have a far better sound and sticks are very reliable
