I am pretty sure it was written around the 1940's but then it was changed but then it came back at around the year 1950's. I have no idea other wise as it says on all the websites I've visited, (one was even Wikipedia) it said nobody actually knows when the 'Nokoreach' was written unlike some other national anthems!

There were many composers of the Baroque period, which lasted from around 1600 to 1750. Some of the prominent composers of this time included, but were not limited to, J.S. Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Purcell, Corelli and Rameau. There were many others, such as Monteverdi (one of the founders of the era), Telemann, Scarlatti, Lully and Buxtehude. Of these, Bach and Handel are held in the highest regard.

While not strictly speaking an Opera, the oratorios by Handel might have been on her list, such as the Messiah. Like an Opera, it is entirely sung- unlike Opera there is no stage craft, props or acting- they are normally performed in a church or cathedral setting. again, while not an opera, Religious Dramas such as the Passion Play had deep and steep musical accompaniments such as the disturbing Stabat Mater which almost qualifies as sacred opera. there entire Passion Story is wrapped up in one basic hymn with many different verses. The phrase means Standing Mother, nothing tio do with stabbing! It is known Victoria liked Lohengrin with its Wedding March. (that was an opera, by Wagner.)
