Linkin Park started out with singer Mark Wakefield instead of our well known Chester Bennington. At that time, their name was Xero. Mark, tired of waiting for success, left the band. Not too long later, Chester auditioned, leaving people walking out of the waiting room because of his uber vocals. The band was then renamed Hybrid Theory but eventually had to change it due to copyright issues (another band named Hybrid). They finally settled on Linkin Park and called their first album Hybrid Theory. And finally, today, we have rock gods and one of the most successful bands in the past 20 years. Savvy?
