The Brazilian was featured in "Unfinished Business" in Season 8, episode 8 in which Magnum prepares to assassinate Quang Ki the man who shot him and killed ex-wife Michelle (and he thinks daughter Lily Catherine) in a car bombing. Quang Ki was the brother of Colonel Ki who Magnum had killed protecting Michelle in "Memories Are Forever." He decides not to pull the trigger(s) of the Special Forces sniper rifle that he appropriated from his old nemesis Colonel Buck Greene in order to not jeopardize the exchange of Ki for an American Vietnam P.O.W. who has been held captive since the war and whose daughter is waiting for him.

No, there was an instrumental piece an episode. But is was by Genesis and not Phil by himself. It was called The Brazilian. It is on the Invisibie Touch album. I remember that episode. It was good. Magnum was being hunted or persued.
