"Don't Cry Joni" was released in August of 1975 by Conway Twitty on MCA Records. It was on the album "High Priest of Country Music". I heard that she relunctant to tape it at first, but her dad told her they just needed her to sing the part at first, & then they'd put another voice in later. Joni Lee was the child at that time interested in a music career. Michael Twitty has had quite a bit of success in his country music career. Kathy Twitty also recorded a song with her dad that's on one of his albums. I really liked her voice!
