Frédéric Chopin is famous for his piano compositions. He wrote by far the most piano compositions as a composer. His etudes and preludes are very famous and acclaimed. He also wrote mazurkas, valses, sonatas, polonaises, nocturnes, scherzos and so forth. His most famous pieces are the revolutionary etude (op. 10 no. 12), ballade in g minor (op. 23) and nocturne posthume. His scherzos were very innovative, just like his preludes and etudes. (He was the first to compose a etude which was musically more demanding than technically demanding. His preludes are famous because they are all wonderful separate pieces, unlike other preludes (before Chopin) which needed be played before ('pre') another piece (for instance preludes and fugas by Bach)

Most famous rappers tend to be black. It is impossible to give an exact number, as people's definitions of famous vary. However, there are more famous black rappers than famous rappers of any other race.
Sometimes true, but only if the composition was long enough, say a symphony or concerto. However, there was nowhere near as much emotional range as in the Romantic era, and in generalClassical compositions stick to one mood.

Sergei Rachmaninoff may be most famous as a composer but also was a famous pianist and conductor in his day. He pretty much gave up conducting at the end of his life, and composed little as well in his later life. He never stopped playing the piano though! Rachmaninov is probably most well known in terms of compositions for his 4 piano concertos, 3 symphonies (especially 2), Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Preludes for Solo Piano (especially the G Minor, C Sharp Minor and B Flat Major ones) and his Symphonic Dances. He recorded all of his piano concertos and they all of the highest standard.
