John Lennon, the groups "leader" he played mostly guitar, but also piano, harmonica, and of course he sung extremely well. He lived from 1940, to 1980, after an insane admirer shot him. Paul McCartney, the bassist, he also played electric and acoustic guitar, piano, Trumpet, drums and he sang just as well as John. He is 72 years old. They all play a million instruments though. George Harrison is another guitarist, he played all kinds of guitar, and probably drums too. He also sings very well. He died in 2003 of cancer (they all smoked back in the 60s), and was born in 1943. Richard Starkey, the drummer, is almost always referred to as Ringo Starr. Ringo is an amazing drummer, he can sing, but not very well. He knows a few chords on guitar and piano, but percussion is his forte. He is 70 years old.
