pinch harmonics are a guitar technique used to get really high pitched sounds by holding the pick with about 3mm of your thumb below it and strumming. If you do it right the string will bounce off you thumb after you strum and create a harmonic. This is incredibly hard to master and is affected by where you strum. This means that for every fret there are certain spots on the string you can use to create pinch harmonics that you can either find by trial and error or if you know how harmonics actually work you can find them fairly easily. There are a lot of YouTube videos explaining this and how to find the harmonic locations but this is incredibly hard to learn and even harder to get them to work with any regularity.
These are called "harmonics" there are different kinds of harmonics, Natural, and Pinch are the only ones i could name. natural harmonics are simple. pinch harmonics are a bit tricky though. hope this helps.
Harmonics are multiples of the fundamental frequency of the wave.
pretty much get the tabs and practice.....most of there songs arent hard... but u wil have to learn how to Do pinch harmonics, and sweep pick, but they hardly ever use sweep picking so u might be good.
Harmonics in music are notes which are produced in a special way. They are notes which are produced as part of the "harmonic series".
They're called pinch harmonics. You do a harmonic by holding down your note then picking, but as you pick follow through and just touch the string with your thumb, resulting in a harmonic. Then pitch bend it. By the way slipknot is bad.

Those are called pinch harmonics.

There are no best harmonics.
Musiciansfriend.com or Guitarcenter.com. Be careful when choosing, though. If you are at all serious, at least look for one with high-output pickups (humbuckers). If you are interested in pinch harmonics, you will have to have these.

Because that is how harmonics are defined!
harmonics nothing but harmonics...............
Odd harmonics are theoretically the only harmonics that are produced by a push-pull amplifier, and even the level of odd harmonics should be very low.
The key to pinch harmonics, also known as "squealies" is simply - 1. Gripping the pick with your index finger, middle finger, and thumb (and possibly your ring finger aswell), and having the end of the pick approximately 3-5 millimeters away from your thumb. 2. Pluck the string, (most pinch harmonics sound good at frets 3, 5, 7, 9, and 12 on most strings, usually the fourth or third string is the best for it) and gently swipe your thumb against the string as you sway down with your fingers. It's as simple as that - just making sure your thumb barely nicks the string as you go down. It should produce a very high pitch, (probably several octives up of the original fret you have it on) and sounds good when you bend the string immediately afterwards.
