they both died................................
uh yeah they both died fosho!!!!
Hi! This is Steph here to clean up this mess of an answer!
Well, obviously we know they both died, duh, everyone does it at some point. One that I can think of off the top of my head, is that both had loving fathers. Both of them had fathers that helped them into a lifestyle of music. And that's how they got to be a composer and Trumpet player. I'd have to do a little research to get some more info, but that's the best I can do without looking around! Hope this helped!
They are both considered to be musical dynasties; those that pass music from generation to generation in their family.
I think that the most important difference between J.S. Bach and Handel is their cultural influence. Handel played lived the vast majority of his life in England, and this style is reflected in his music. Bach's music however is much more strictly German. He regularly utilises German forms and styles, whilst his harmonies are far more complex than those of Handel. Similarities:They were born is the same year, they both played in the baroque period. Handel visited Germany but he and Bach never met. The two also composed Classical Music.
Both were classical music composers, both were magnificent, and both are still famous.
Some differences;
Bach wrote a lot of religious music, in German. Only a few pieces, such as the Brandenburg Concertos, were dedicated to royalty. Bach's music has an almost mathematical precision, but sometimes seems more intellectual than spiritual. Strange, since many of his works were written for the Church, and for the organ. Many Bach pieces are used for instrumental practice.
Handel wrote primarily orchestral music to please the King, of England. Handel's music is less precise, often more lyrical and moving. Some of his more notable works were the "Water Music", to be played on a barge while following the King down the Thames River, or the Music for the Royal Fireworks. His most famous work may be "The Messiah", which is both orchestral and choral.
Both the music of Brahms and Beethoven shares the same scale and vision, and the resolution of innumerable inner conflicts.
they both are composers I'm in music memory
Both were born the same year, German, court musicians, became blind. But Bach is still the BEST.
The pieces were composed in the Baroque century.
Bach is... - A composer - Lived long ago - Classical music - German Marsalis... -Musician (Trumpet player) -Jazz music -Lives now -American I'd suggest you listen to the different music of each. That's the biggest difference. There's a whole world between classical and jazz. Take the swung-note figure, or the culture even of the jazz world into account.
Johann Sebastian Bach was very fond of the music of Dieterich Buxtehude, he even walked over 400 kilometres just to hear him play. You can hear many similarities between their music. It is also safe to assume that he was aware of the music of his day and that of course affects every composer of any time in some way.
they include similar instruments and are of african american origin
He had 20. Some of then became composers.
Mozart was great, and Bach was also great
The Bach family was active during the 18th century and influenced the development of classical music. The Marsalis family, active in contemporary times, is mainly known for jazz. They are called musical dynasties because several family members achieved fame as musicians.
