James Hetfield is the Lead Singer and Rhythm guitarist for the Heaviest band in the world, Metallica. Metallica makes it's origins in 1981 basically handing out demo tapes to get their name out. By 1983, Metallica had a studio contract. That contract is what is known as "Kill 'em All", A 10 track album that was produced when James was all but 17. With each album, Metallica started becoming a reckoned force in the music industry. But in 1991, The Black Album was released. This album showcased impeccable guitar playing and extreme vocals by James Hetfield. At the moment, Metallica is Touring in Australia. The did however, come to the states to perform at launch party for the Massive video game, "Call of Duty: Black Ops". Is there anything else you wish to know about James Hetfield or Metallica?
just guess, the album went gold (which means it sold more than 500000 copies) but that was during 1986 right now they should have sold almost a million, think about it, each of their cds cost about $15...1000000 x 15 = 15 millions dollars from only master of puppets, now, the black album sold even more!
AnswerI think it was the Black Album, which featured Enter Sandman. Yes. it was the black album which came out in 1991. Their is debate on weather or not the justice album could have sold more. They both sold millions but over all master of puppets is more recognised for being the album that gave them the boostthe black albumThe Black album was the most commercially successful, however most newer and older fans like MOP too. In the long run MOP is more well known but not as many were sold. The Black Album is probably the most successful. Every year since it's release, it rounds in about a million record sales every year. Making it one of the most successful metal albums to date.that is if you want to call it metal instead of just rock
If they're not being paid for each playing of one of their songs on any publicly accessible medium, then Metallica (technically, their management, but it's Metallica) won't allow it. You could try petitioning the band, but that's an effort which would probably prove futile in the end.
James and Lars knew each other since they were in their late teens but that's about it

Accurate sales figures are not public knowledge.

If you have previous figures to work from there are a few possible ways. You can use the FORECAST function if you have two sets of dependent figures. You could also use a standard formula if there is a pattern in the figures you have already have got. So if sales had gone up by 10% each year, you could increase the last sales you had by 10%. Forecasting is not always precise so to be accurate is not always certain, particularly with something like sales as it can be affected by many factors. So there are lots of functions that could be used.
It depends on where you buy them. Buying them online is much cheaper than buying them from stores.

I think the first album, "Kill 'em all".Not many people knew them then. ========= No. Kill 'Em All is certified triple platinum in the United States, tied with Re-Load. As of 2012, the lowest-selling Metallica studio albums are St. Anger and Death Magnetic, both at double platinum. Worldwide sales of St. Anger are estimated to be higher than Death Magnetic; however, remember that Death Magnetic was released five years after St. Anger. RIAA certifications for Metallica's music releases as of 2012: Kill 'Em All - 3x platinum Ride the Lightning - 6x platinum Master of Puppets - 6x platinum ...And Justice for All - 8x platinum Metallica - 16x platinum Live &^%$: Binge & Purge - 15x platinum (this release was in a multi-disc format; each one sold accounts for more than one unit) Load - 5x platinum Re-Load - 3x platinum Garage, Inc. - 5x platinum S&M - 5x platinum St. Anger - 2x platinum Death Magnetic - 2x platinum

In my opinion, it has to be Guitar Hero: Metallica. I say this not only because I'm a hardcore Metallica fan (although that is a big reason ^.^), but I say this because each instrument for each song is extremely fun to play. Awesome bass parts, the best solos and insane drum tracks.
