You cannot directly go for ABRSM grade 5 piano exam without giving any earlier grades.
it would depend on what type of grading you are doing I'm currently doing AMEB Grading (Australian Music Examination Board) and i would say about grade 5

You only have to bring your piano pieces book not your scales or sight reading.

Well, that's 57.5%, which is an F on most scales. Unless there's a severe curve, I'd say no, that is not a good grade.
Piano exam scores are scores depending on how well you played in your exam the perfect score is around 137.
Well what I think you do on a grade on exam is that you have three pieces to play to normally 1-3 might I say "juges". Then you play your scales a r pregios and then I think you do sight reading I wouldn't actually exactly but that's it roughly you might do some extra things. I'm taking my grade 1 recorder in may wish me luck.
You get your regents exam when your at the end of your junior year. Possibly 8th grade.
