The ideology of the American Republican party, a moderate conservative party espousing the reduction of taxes and social services, a strong military, Christianity as a founding principle of the USA, and decreases in regulation and tax burdens on business and the rich in order to (they claim) allow for greater business efficiency. Republicans tend to think that leftists dictators like Stalin and Mao was as bad or worse than Hitler, and are distrustful of other powers such as Russia and China, as well as most major Islamic organizations. They believe the recent shift to the radical left in South American political leadership (most notably Hugo Chavez) is not just detrimental to America but dangerous to the Western Hemisphere, and support Israel above all other foreign policy goals (as most would proudly tell you).
They are opposed to the somewhat more liberal (but still quite moderate on the world scale) Democratic Party.
