Actually he went to the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 1996 I know because I went there as well for the music business and recorded him in one of our classes where he had a high pitched voice and still looks almost the same as back then. His name is Alione called him Ali for short and his stage name was Akon His parents were from Africa I have yet to find proof but he did not complete the course he moved to Georgia and that is where he got in trouble he is from New Jersey right across the river from Philadelphia I wish someone else could verify this for me as well
