the band was formed in 1999, by m. shadows and zacky vengeance. brian haner, jimmy sullivan, and johnny seward later joined. they were officially recognized around 2003 when they played warped tour. their first album was 'sounding the seventh Trumpet' which was mostly screaming. their second, 'waking the fallen' was mostly screaming, as well, but had singing. third album was 'city of evil' which was almost all singing. finally, their most recent album, 'avenged sevenfold' which was mostly singing, but did have a few screaming parts.
