What does it mean if some guitar frets don't allow the guitar to make sound?

it may be a few different things, but its probabley that you have the strings too close to the frets.
for example, if you play up on the 12th fret or so, and the strings are extremley close to the frets, the string might be resting on two frets, so no sound comes out.
it also could be that you arent pushing hard enough on the fret or not holding the fret down in the correct spot.

Hey, An acoustic guitar can have 4 strings (bass) or 6 strings (normal acoustic) or 12 strings ... a 6 string guitar has a tuning of E,A,D,G,B,E, and a 12 string guitar has a tuning of E,E,A,A,D,D,G,G,B,B,E,E ... In additon to this there are many other tunings such as dadgag and drop d etc. as long as there is a guitar in a particular song, you can preety much play it on your guitar. but most electrics have like 22 or 24 frets and many guitar solos are played on the 2nd octave (i.e. 12th to 24th fret) and acoustic guitars usually dont have 22 frets..so as long as you're tuned right and have sufficent frets , its possible to play any song..
Does bashed guitars sound better than unbashed guitars?

i dont really know what its called but ill try to explain and do this for about 2 mins before playing guitar put four fingers anywere in a row on the guitar buy start from the E string and then move one finger up and then the next but the other fingers have to stay on the frets and then when reach the top go down. its kinda hard to explain so if you dont understand use scales

Should you get a carvin ct6 or st300c I have an esp ltd deluxe which is a hardtail and an ibanez rg 570 which has a trem what should i get?
(from the asker of the question) I am really not sure, i want a ct6 badly because it has 22 frets, both my guitars have 24 frets, and i want the 22 because it has less tension... but, my fastest guitar is an rg, i love it, its wicked fast, but has terrible tone, i was thinking of the st300c for a guitar with great tone and a trem, but also the ct6 for the 22 frets and awesome look. Any advice is great but i would really appreciate it from someone who owns both. i just dont want to waste my money because it took me a while to get the money, considering im 14, it would take a while to remake that. And dont tell me any other companies because im set on carvin, just not the model.
