What does the 'pull key wait 10 seconds' message mean on a Corvette?

it means that it had difficulty reading the chip in your key and it needs 10 secc to reset. if this problem doesnt resolve itself the car/key may need to be reprogramed.

There are two parts to the radio, the radio head unit which is in the dash and the receiver. The receiver is in the storage well behind the passenger seat. Open the door to the storage well. Remove the plastic storage well - just pull it out. Remove the carpet - just pull it out. The tuner box is right there under the carpet. It is attached to the body with two velcro strips - just pull it off and remove connectors and antenna lead. Hope this helps. -Mike-
