Bent or restricted track? Broken cable? This may not work for everyone but on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, we moved the seat all the way forward for cleaning and the power seat stuck there. I could move it about a half inch backwards and forwards, so i knew the motor was functioning properly. I took out the four bolts which secure the seat to the car body and tilted the entire seat assembly backward so I could get a better look underneath. I did not disconnect any electrical components. When I tested it again, in the tilted position it suddenly began to move through it's full range, forward and back. I thought maybe something that was jamming the track had slid out when I tilted it but now that it is secure I can hear some clicking from the assembly. So it wasn't a 100% fix, but at least it freed the seat up

This part is not independently serviceable. It comes as an assembly on the power track. It is likely that the driveshaft to the motor is broken anyway so even if you could replace just one motor it would do you no good. You should remove the entire power track assembly from the cushion and order a replacement from the dealership or online. In any case make sure you contact the dealer to request the correct torques to re-install any fasteners.
