Dean guitars, because The Showdown uses them.
because a majority of people use it for that , it can be used for metal or country music to anything in between it all depends on what notes and melody the guy playing decides to go with.
I know EMG's are the standards for todays modern metal bands. I have nothing against them but I want to have a little different sound than what everyone else is playing. I've read several great reviews on these pickups however not much on if they are good for metal or not. They will be going into an Epiphone Les Paul Studio if that makes a difference and I also use a Metal Muff pedal for distortion. it should be fine if you just tune your guitar to the song tuning it also help full to have a amp to set it to metal with this should make your playing sound great if you have this most electric guitars will be good for any genre of music but you must have good pickups you can get these with a good brand guitar
The Rg50MZ is a good Ibanez started guitar and retails at about å£230 eg from dolphin music. This is suited to heavy metal. The GRG140 is about å£140 and is one of their cheapest guitars. Ibanez are considered a good quality guitar company, so even this guitar should have suitable tone and build quality for a starter guitar.
Any guitar, electric or not, can play any genre of music. You can hear some people play the accoustic guitar in a very heavy metal fashion and classical has been played extremely well with a distorted electric guitar by famous bands like Epica, Nightscape, Magic Kingdom and Skylark, to name a few. There is a band that plays a heavy metal style and all they play is cellos (Apocalyptica), so it doesn't matter the instrument, any style can be attempted and sometimes successfully translated and conveyed.
The best techniques for playing an electric metal guitar include mastering palm muting, alternate picking, string bending, and using distortion effects to create a heavy sound. Additionally, practicing regularly, learning scales and arpeggios, and experimenting with different tones and settings on the guitar and amplifier can help improve your metal guitar playing skills.

To make your electric guitar sound more metal, you can use high-gain distortion pedals, tune your guitar to drop tuning, use palm muting technique, and incorporate pinch harmonics in your playing. Experiment with different settings on your amplifier and pedals to achieve a heavier and more aggressive tone.
you can shred when you play. that's metal. Also get new strings.
A bass-guitar and an electric bass guitar is the same thing, unless you want to get technical and call it an acoustic bass guitar and an electric, whereas your answer would be electric (for a rock/alt./punk/metal band) ---------------------------------------------------------------------
yes usually electric guitars go up to 22 frets some metal guitar go to 24 frets.
Well, it depends on what type of genre of music you want to play. The Electric Guitar works as a well instrument in many rock genres, including Classical Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal. However, a Jazz Guitar also has some cons and pros to! A Jazz Guitar can play Blues, Jazz, Classical Rock, mostly Oldies. However, a Jazz Guitar can not be as loud as a Electric Guitar. Depending on your type of genre, I would prefer an Electric Guitar, which could play almost all genres. Enjoy playing!
There are many different types of guitars, some would have to be the 12-stringed guitar, the Mexican Jarana, the South American Charango, the metal-strung guitar, the Cello guitar, the Hawaiin guitar(Ukulele), the electric guitar, the acoustic guitar and the electric-acoustic guitar.
it was used in rock, metal, and jazz a little i think
