What happened to Emily longstreth?

Emily longstreth literally dissapeared . Fans , like me , have been searching info about her for a long time. Basically we found some sort of "gossip" that she was staying at a shelter down at olivieri center,Chelsea,NY and been in shelters since 95´ after(Confessions of a hitman) her last movie.Weird huh? .. cause , either she was broke or had some sorta mental dissability like bi polar personality. That rumor was shut down by some comments about her allegedly mother , who said that info was not accurate at all and she was okay , she wanted to keep a low profile and that kinda stuff. The thing that surprises as all is .how ,by that time, a working actress was wiped off the information network. I mean, she worked with Johnny Depp ,Brad Pitt, Kevin Bacon, Morrow..and the list goes on. Her Filmography is complete in IMDb .Her info is none , she worked in some great 80´s movies , like really box office hits, Pretty in Pink, The big picture, American drive in etc . Im just guessing she just wanted to disappear.But lets talk senses here, if u surf the internet you wont find anything, i mean ,Anything. How can a person can stay unknown there days? . and imagine a actress who was kind of a teen icon in the 80´s. Still can figure it out .So many different versions, The shelter center due to illness or drugs abuse , Low profile (Still the info is none for that kinda life) , a stunt man who worked at wired to kill said she was kinda a survivor.

Anyway. Im leaning forward to the Olivieri center story , due to "something". I hope i am just mistaken.
