Ron died around 1973/1974. He was sold very mad morphine and died while in his sleep. I know that for a fact because I was hanging around with him at the time and was deeply shocked that such a talent was lost at such a young age. He was my musical mentor for over a year and a half and I had grown really close to him and even now often think of him. At that the time of his death he was mainly living around the Sidcup/Bexley area and was in negotiations for a further recording deal with the ex. singer and member of the English group "Marmalade". The demos for those sessions were stolen from me and I have no knowledge of where those tapes have gone. He was a truly gifted musician but sadly a child of the times, hedonistic and naive, but his memory will always remain with me as long as I live. The biggest influence on his work at that time was Stevie Wonder.
