No woman can know that they never had a miscarriage unless the woman is a virgin. If you don't think you have had one, and you have been sexually active even with Birth Control measures for a long enough period of time, you are probably wrong.

A "miscarriage" is otherwise known as a "spontaneous abortion" and happens very frequently in women without their ever confirming a pregnancy. Approximately 1/4 of all pregnancies result in a miscarriage. It can happen any time after the fertilized egg implants, often as a "late" period, all the way to losing a near term baby due to an incompetent cervix, that went untreated. The causes are many, and usually indicate a problem with the progression of the pregnancy, though maternal issues can cause this, as well as medications, drugs, etc.

The question really should be what if you have repeatedmiscarriages? That is an abnormal state, not the belief that one has never had one.
