In the song by Burton Cummings and the Guess Who, 46201 allegedly refers to a postal 'zip code' in the United States. If I remember correctly the song is about a fan of the band who commits suicide.
Written by Burton Cummings of the Guess Who, the song refers to the zip code of Indianapolis. Cummings was having trouble finishing the lyrics to Sour Suite; he paused to read a letter from a female fan, and he noticed her return address. For some reason, he thought the numbers of the zip code would fit into the song, so he used that zip code ("it's just like 46201"). Some versions of how the song came to be written say he wrote it in a hotel room in Indianapolis, but other versions say he was living in an apartment with some room-mates, and whenever he got any mail, they brought it into him and left it on his piano; in that version of the story, he wrote it in his apartment, after reading the fan letter.
It's 46201, not 64201. I don't know what it means but 46201 is the sip code for Indianapolis, IN.
