Oh... That is sad.. First, by far... Oboe is horrible for people with carpal tunnel! Same with clarinet because you have to use your thumb to support the instrument depending on which side it is on. Personally from experience, if your right hand is affected, French horn is good. Right hand only is in the bell and tunes the note. It's not very stressful! If youreft had is affected, don't do French horn! There is much stress on bereft hand for all of the valves. Another option would actually be percussion to many people's surprise! The movement of let's say... Beating a bass drum uses your arm, not necessarily just your wrist/fingers/hand area. Those are my thoughts! Hope this helps you!
