Yes, Dave Mustaine is a born again Christian since he finished his final rehab treatment. He is also very open about his faith, during the End Game tour he mentioned that he prays after shows and refuses to write blasphemous material anymore.
Dave Mustaine (lead/rhythm guitarist, lead vocalist) was formerly Metallica's guitarist, but was kicked out of the band after numerous incidents. Dave Mustaine eventually started a band called 'Fallen Angels', which evolved into what is now Megadeth. More informations is available in the link below.
Various Gibsons. Right now Live he's been using a DG-335 tuned to standard, another DG-335 tuned to Drop D, and a Firebird tuned to Drop A. He used a Gibson Trini Lopez model to record Wasting Light.

Well Kirk is logically and technically better than Slash, and most guitarists for that matter. But it really is just opinion. kirk is much better in my opinion(just my opinion) kirk is pretty awsome on soloing but if you mean put together solos and classics amazing solos slash anyday personally i think slash is overated (just my opinion) he is a good guitarist but not as good as some of the others (again my opinion)
Dave Mustaine is thinking about marrying Miranda Cosgrove, while cheating on Victoria Justice
Previously, Gar Samuelson, david ellefson, Chris Poland and Dave Mustaine were the members of megadeth. Now its chris broderick, dave mustaine, shawn drover and david ellefson.

Ok to sum it up, 1981 Metallica was formed, James, Lars, Dave and some other guy wrote demo's played in bars, went to NY and the west coast and dominated before they even released an album. But since Metallica and there "non-drug" related cry baby attitude towards Dave Mustaine, they fired him on the way to New York. In New York Dave Mustaine then traveled back to L.A. taking a bus. There mid way through the depressing trip. Dave Mustaine met Dave Ellfesson. Ok heres the kicker. While on the bus almost to L.A he was reading a newspaper. On it said "there will be a sure megadeath if these nuclear weapons are released...". Now Dave thought wow this is cool, so he dropped the a in death. MEGADETH was born. Dave created this band to seek revenge on Metallica. In L.A. he got 2 more guys. The band was complete and ready to thrash out his rival band. After all ladies and gentlemen, Dave Mustaine and I'm serious, wrote songs for Kill em All, most of em. Ride the Lightning was his song so was Call of the Kytulu. On Master Of Puppets, he wrote Leper Messiah. Huh tells alot about Metallica huh. Well to wrap it up, Megadeth began by Dave Mustaine's hatred and passion towards not only Metallica but to show the world MEGADETH is the greatest thrash/speed metal band of all time. \m/

I would't go as far as friends, but it has gotten better. Even though "Some Kind of Monster" apparently refueled the fire, it's been a while since anything has happened between them.
