Modern wood clarinets are typically made of Grenadilla. Very old clarinets were made of Boxwood. I've heard of Rosewood clarinets but have never seen one. One Clarinet made by Conn around 1949~52 was marketed as "Violin Finish" and was actually made of plywood.
There are also clarinets made of hard rubber (mostly older), ABS plastic and other flavors of plastic. Must not overlook metal clarinets, which were mostly made of nickel, nickel plated brass and some were silver plated or with some portion (like the bell) made of sterling silver. One very rare model made by Wm. S. Haynes was made entirely of sterling silver.

Mississippi blues or delta blues is a genre of music. Typically, the instruments used are guitars as well as harmonicas.
It's just like a B flat clairinet, or Bass Clairnet, you just put more air into it.... same keys, and same fingerings.
