I recently bought a Squier Bullet Strat(with tremolo), and have been using it non-stop for the past 3 months. It sounds great, and unless you have small hands or are buying it for a child and want a Mini Squier, it's the best thing to get.
A good beginner guitar is the Ibanez GSA60. Its affordable, has great sound and it seems pretty durable. I am also a beginner and just got this guitar and i love it!
The Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar is a good guitar for a beginner. It is priced at an affordable amount and is comfortable to hold while learning. The frets are easy to navigate as well.
It looks to me like Jaxville guitars seem to be a lower end of the market guitar however, the info I have received seems to make the guitar great for beginners. Honestly my opinion is that if you are a beginner and you want an affordable but good quality guitar maybe check out Squire guitars Made by Fender. You can go to www.guitarcenter.com and checkem out!
Best Buy has a beginner guitar that is great for young children learning how to play and is only $50.
Yes, Def a good brand for a beginner to intermediate player. Brands don't really have as much to do with being for a intermediate player or not, its really about what the guitar is made of, what type of electronics it uses, high action, low action etc. Play it before you buy it, but these are nice sounding guitars all around.
