I know that this is a lyric, like say, "yellow brick road". But what imagery is Marc Bolan trying to create? I know what a hubcap is. I know what a halo is. I do not understand the meaning of the term "diamond star". Could it just be a nonsensical phrase ala "pompetous of love"?
