Thinking of removing the black gloss finish on my tokai love rock guitar and keeping it as a satin wood finish (just use some oils etc). Is there an easy/cheap way to do this?
French polish Is the best and hardest finish to use on your guitar. The guitar industry has moved away from it because is not green friendly, The water- base lacquer is green but, it is not very strong, and you have to refinish your guitar more often. Hope this helps.
