Knowing something about cars, there is a logical answer that does not invove gambling (Horse racing) or Drugs. Here it is in the song by Chicago the singer chants (Twenty-five or Six, Two Four) and admittedly it does not make much sense, but let us assume the man fell asleep in a garage. The firing order of a straight six engine is here it goes: l5-36-24 One and five , Three and six, Two and Four. somehwo l and 5 are corrupted into twenty five, o6 comes in instead of 3-6 , 2 and 4 are(in synch) Just looik at the cyllinder block of a truck engine, gas or diesel of this (Caliber) The numbrs are literally cast in metall. so l5-36-2-4- makes Twenty Five Oh Six Two Four. not too far off! The explanation makes more sense the gambling or time of day angle.
