Each Clarinet maker such as YAMAHA, BUFFET, JUPITER, SELMER etc has a large array of clarinets they offer, they have to find a practical way to differentiate them, right?
Well, that's where the "models" come into play. Just like cars, TVs or pretty much anything, models will somehow describe the thing that you are buying.
Clarinet models vary depending on what material they are made of such as wood, plastic, metal (they don't make those anymore) and so on. Also, it will sometimes define what kind it is, such as bass, alto, soprano and so on.
I suggest you visit the clarinet makers' website and check their different clarinets and their models so you are more familiar with them.
The International is the C13, a very nice intermediate clarinet.
cost about 80
Model, condition?
you can usually find it on the bell and the barrel, sometimes even the ligature that came with it, of your clarinet.
It was a Leblanc ... I used to play it when i toured with Woody's band when there were clarinet parts. Not sure what model, but it played great.

The Armstrong model 4041 was made of "composition" (i.e., plastic). See http://web.archive.org/web/19970625135215/http://www.unitedmusical.com/Woodwind-CAT.htm#Clarinet. It was a student-level clarinet.
Noteworthy is not a reputable name in the clarinet community. It will most likely lead to playing inefficiencies that will cause the player to adapt bad habits. These habits, once learned will be hard to shed. The Selmer company has been making clarinet for the professional clarinet community for a long time now. Although the 1400 series is a student model, the company manufactures the professional models in the same factory as the student model. What that means is that the people that put that student clarinet together and more competent and the end result is better. No matter which instrument you buy, please get it serviced by a clarinet tech before playing it. It makes a world of difference.
Piccolo clarinet From the smallest to the biggest, here it is: ~ Soprano clarinet ~ Basset clarinet ~ Basset horn ~ Alto clarinet ~ Bass clarinet ~ Contra-alto clarinet ~ Contrabass clarinet
Somewhat. The Bass Clarinet sounds an octave lower than the Bb Clarinet. It is also much bigger and requires much more air, as well as a looser embrochure. There are also a couple extra keys (depending on your model) that allow you to play even lower than low E.
no, if it's a student clarinet in B flat then it is the same as a regular clarinet in B flat. only difference is that the student model will be of lesser quality and maybe somewhat "easier" to play
bass clarinet
no, the buffet clarinet is
