I think it might be the OBD (Diagnosis) Port.
You need the radio code first. Check your docs or contact a Renault dealer. When you have them and the console display asks for the code turn the thumb wheel on the satelite control stick on steering column. When you get the first number push the button under the wheel. Do this until all four numbers are set, you should get a bleep and the radio should work.
hey, under the two vents abve the radio, there are two screws. remove them. one more screw under the cigarette lighter, and one more immediately to it's right. remove all four screws. light the part of the console that covers the stick shifts, and the plastic console around the radioshold pop off, it's all plastic poped togeter, so be careful not to break any of the teeth that put it together. then four screws around each corner ofthe radio. remove them and the system should slide out. unplug the one large cable wire for the radio, and from the back of the system, a large plastic plug holding all the wires, remove that one too. if your planning on installing a newer aftermarket one, take notice of the colour wires, as those will help ensuring you wire the new one properly. if you go into radio shack,or best buy, they actually have plug converters to make the job a lot easier for you.. best of luck
One of the easiest and quickest ways to do this, is to go to an audio store and buy a wire harness. It should plug right into the factory plug (providing that it is still intact) and then plug into your new radio. If not, it will have ready to go wires for the harness that came with your radio.
do not cut the wires. buy plug .
