The best classical guitar for one is determined by preferance and price range. If you only want to spend $300-$900 than a Yamaha or a la patrie would be what I would personally advise the perchase of. If you want an instrument that is of high quality amounst concert Guitars than you must spend $30'000+. Heres a list of people who make\made the cream of the crop. But some of these guys do make student models for $1400+ but those are made by people learning under the maestro's. But still are decent in quality and are, during production, observed by there companies name bearers.

Classical guitars can be a good starting guitar because the string tension is low which will make it easier to press down on the frets however, the width of the neck on a classical is generally wider than most other guitar which makes it hard for younger children and smaller hands to reach around the guitar.
A Spanish guitar has a round neck and a Hawaiian guitar has a square neck.A Spanish guitar is meant to be played by picking or strumming while a Hawaian guitar is meant to be on your lap or a table laid flat. A Hawaiian guitar has a high action and is meant to be played with a slide.
