The Edge Pro Licensed Floyd Rose is by far the best LFR bridge.
The newer Edge Zero LFR bridge is quite good also but it is quite early to compare them with the older Edge Pro unit.
The Edge Zero is just like a hybrid between the Edge Pro and the ZR (Zero Resitance) bridge system found in the S Series Ibanez guitar.
The Edge Zero has the same knife edge as the Edge Pro with the improved tuners found in the S prestige bridge tremolo unit -minus the ball bearing as a pivot. The main upgrade would be the Patented ZPS3 spring system allows for the most radical of trem effects. The ZPS-3 acts as a Zero Point System so you won't lose your tuning once a string breaks.
The Floyd Rose tremolo
That is all a matter of personal opinion. Although when it comes to Ibanez I have found the RG series to be a very popular one. This is the most diverse series of any guitar of any brand, and I have used 2 different ones, owning one of them myself. I personally think they are a great guitar, and recommend them to any metal/rock player.
A guitar can cost anywhere from $20 up. But a twenty dollar guitar is going to sound pretty terrible. Generally when it comes to buying a guitar you get just what you pay for. Buying a used guitar remember to avoid such brands as Academy and First Act. You're going to want to find a Yamaha, Ibanez, or fender. These cost 300$-400$ new so expect to pay about 80$-200$ used.

I suggest Ibanez guitars. they make good guitars for all price ranges in both acoustics and electrics. for three hundred dollars you can get a decent guitar. they also have a fairly big selection of guitars for three hundred dollars. i dont suggest Squire guitars because they have poor quality. i hope you find something you like!
For a beginner or casual user it is a very good guitar. I purchased the Guitar and amp packagae in 2011 and have used it for a year. There are only two and a half negative things I can say about it 1) The plastic strap that comes with it digs into your skin and is very irritating. 2) The amplifier sound decent with clean sound but the gain doesn't kick in until you turn up the volume to the point that the entire house is listening to you. I remedied that by buying an $80 zoom G1-XN multi-effects peddle. 2.5) The strat style tremolo bridge. Once you use it a few times you are now out of tune. The body is agathis (good strength to weight ratio) so it weighs half as much as a Fender Strat. The build quality is decent. Once I adjusted the neck, bridge saddles and pick-up heights it started to feel like a real guitar except much lighter. As for tones, It might not sound like a $3000 JEM guitar but it's not bad.
a tremolo arm.
If the bridge comes off of a guitar it can still be repaired but should be fixed by an instrument professional. The guitar may sound differently slightly once the bridge is repaired.

Generally, the brands of guitars the known for metal include ESP Schecter B.C Rich Ibanez Jackson These are the most popular for metal. There are hundreds of different manufacturers out there and it all comes down to personal preference.
This sounds like a classic "I want to exchange my bridge for a Floyd Rose tremolo" question. It is one of the most often asked and by far the most sought after of guitar configurations, whether a cheap knock-off or a decent guitar with outdated hardware. You can get an original for around $300 that comes with everything including the locking nut or you can buy a much cheaper (and probably equally useful if fitted correctly) licensed patent of a Floyd Rose type locking tremolo bridge (also often coming with everything and fitting the same template) for under $50. Pickups are from $20 each to $200 based on the sound and annotation configuration you are after and wiring is very simple soldering you can YouTube the methods. I am currently doing a complete retrofit of licensed Floyd Rose and PAF pickup set (humbucker neck and bridge) for $180 all up including machine heads, pickup rings, knobs and plates all in gold. I will be doing the bridge and nut routing and electronics myself, but you can get a tech to do it for you for between $40 and $200 depending on what you need done.
It comes with 2 guitar hero guitars and the game.

Some different styles that the Ibanez AS73 comes in are Electric, Semi-Hollow and Hollow. One can expect to pay anywhere from $300-$600 dollars for one.
