Flutes - It is open at both ends hence called open pipe.
clarinets - It is open at only outer end and closed by mouth at other end hence called closed pipe.
The flute is a nearly cylindrical instrument which is open to the outside air at both ends. The player leaves the embouchure hole open to the air, and blows across it
The clarinet (right) is a roughly cylindrical instrument which is open to the outside air at the bell, but closed by the mouthpiece, reed and the player's mouth at the other end
Flutes are much higher than clarinets.
Basically Flutes, and Clarinets....smooth music.

I believe it is the clarinets, flutes, saxophones, trumpets, and tuba
Boxwood was used frequently for baroque woodwind instruments. Mostly Flutes and Clarinets but I have seen one or two oboes.

oh thats easy! the difference is that band has brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments such as: trumpets, trombones, baritones, tubas, clarinets, flutes, saxophones, oboes, bells, and drums. orchestra is where you have instruments such as: violins, chelos, viola, and the base. Hope this helped! :)
Below the flutes and above the cor angles, and Clarinets.
flutes, clarinets, saxophones, bassoons, oboes; those are the main ones. Anything with a reed is a woodwind and so are flutes even though there is no reed

clarinet is much easier. if you go on to play the sax/flute and sounds nicer :)
