∙ 12y agoOriginally, Techno was it's own genre. It was developed in the 1980's when people started experimenting with computer generated sounds, resulting in the creation of entire songs built around "music technology".
House music came from disco and electro-music, and is an incredibly recent stem of electronically created music.
If you could call it a genre at all, I could only guess it would be described as "hard" , if you get what I mean.
Techno is more experimental, and could be of any dynamical or structured form. It could be slow, soft, fast, crazy, like I said, it's mainly experimental.
House music is always mad and crazy.
