Well Lead guitar is a guitar that is a 6 string standard guitar often used for up front lead sounds. The Bass Guitar has a much lower sound and only has four strings. Bass Guitars are mostly used for rythm and deap low sounds.
There's a HUGE difference. Actually, the only thing they have in common is their shape. So, a 'bass guitar' is not very good name. 'Bass' or 'base' is much better.
The differences are:
- Bass has much lower tone and it's specialized for playing bass line while the guitar's tone is higher.
- Guitar has usually got 6 strings (2 kinda low, 2 medium and 2 kinda high), meanwhile bass has 4 or 5 (they are all low).
- The playing style is very different. If you play bass, you have to play one note at a time, but when you play guitar, you can strum (play with chords - that means you can play up to six notes at a time), do 'arpeggios' (play with chords but picking one note at the time - not using a strumming technique) or play riffs, licks and solos (those are usually based on a scale, so you have to move your both hands all of the time (while strumming or playing an arpeggio, you generally move just your right hand))
- The guitar is also more rhythmical (when strumming).
- Guitar is more universal, bass is more specialized.

Bass guitars have four strings, while guitars have six.
Bass guitars have thicker strings and a longer neck (34" versus the guitar's 24" neck), which allows them to play an octave lower than the guitar.
Bass usually plays the "bassline" of a song, and the guitar usually plays either the chords to a song or the melody, or both.
Because bass only really plays basslines, it only plays one note at a time, whereas the guitar plays more notes at a time (up to six).
With guitar, you can easily play solo and sing along because of its ability to play chords. Because a bass is limited to only one or a few notes at a time, it is difficult to play solo and sing along with while maintaining a "full" sound.
Bass is overall easier to learn than guitar. But there are usually a lot more Guitarists available in the music world.
The notes a bass guitar plays are lower than a regular guitar. A bass guitar also usually plays the harmony or the beat in a song played by a band, while the regular guitar plays the melody.
Nothing. An electric guitar is used as a rhythm and ALSO a lead guitar. However, the difference between rhythm and lead guitar is just the guitar riffs that are played. Rhythm essentially keeps the rhythm/basic notes of the song while the lead guitar do a fancy lead riff and/or solo overtop of the rhythm guitar.
yeah their played pretty much the same except lead sometimes has a guitar solo

Angus and Malcolm Young. Angus is the lead guitar, and is possibly the greatest lead to ever duck walk a stage. Malcolm is rythm guitar, and is not quite as esteemed, but is also really good. Cliff Williams plays the bass guitar.
There are three different categories. Lead Guitar, Guitar Battle and Bass/Rythm. You complete each of those modes. For each mode you will earn a different song.

Behringer amps are electric guitar amplifiers. They are used to amplify the sound of the guitar. There are different models for bass guitar and lead guitar.
Yes he is real and most REAL guitar players know him for different songs including "Sweet child of mine" he was the lead guitar of Guns and Roses.

Rhythm guitar and Lead Guitar are two elements of music not actual types of guitars. Rhythm guitar is a foundation which others in a band can "anchor" themselves to and is essentially the glue that holds together a band. Lead guitar is ornamental. It's meant to compliment what else is going on in the music. The two aren't always used in a band at the same time anymore however. The rhythm guitar has been slightly phased-out by modern technology ie the DJ. In recent times, lead guitarist really implies rhythm AND lead guitar work. But the stigma attached to guitarists is that a rhythm guitarist isn't a skilled as a lead guitarist. The truth is that any guitarist worth his salt can do both. Versatility is the key.

yes- there might be slight differences in the set up but a jack to jack lead will work with either instrument perfectly fine. There may be slight variations in tone between a guitar and bass lead but nothing that will dramatically effect it!
